Government Funding Solutions - Just another Guru?
Aloha BP Community!
I just watched a webinar from Government Funding Solutions and Sean Carpenter touting the benefits of Government Funding to fund your deals. Similar to other guru presentations, they take the approach of talking about how anyone can get started with this stuff and how everything they're giving you is worth several thousands of dollars.
Is there any legitimacy to this? I would love to hear from anyone with experience in working with these guys. I am a REI newbie and have been fiercely educating myself in all things REI over the last year to figure out the best path for me to get started. Small Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate (mostly large Multifamily) are very enticing to me, so this program's approach to using government loans and low to no-interest financing to get into commercial properties is intriguing.
They talk about
Broker Certification
Government Deal Funding
Affordable Housing Grants
Tax Credits
Section 8 programs
All of this for between $1k - $3k.

Once again, any insight would be awesome!
Mahalo (Thanks) BP Community!

Hey guys - I believe there's already a small REI over there, at least in the Hilo area. I spoke to Roy a couple weeks ago - see link below. I'm about to buy a deal in the Keaau ag lot area.

I don't know how often they meet, but you should look into it.
