Guess they'd have time to paint but not mow the yard LOL.So I just don't want to seem to "mean landlord" but at the same time want to have some standards.I guess I would consider it in the master bedroom, which has a wood laminate floor, and I considered repainting anyway as the color is a very pale off-white but w/a slight purple undertone.

My sense of right and wrong says that keeping the money paid for a tile job that started coming up within a week after installation is straight up wrong, and that keeping any part of a deposit not already spent on materials at this point is beyond the pale.
