I usually look in the area just north-east of downtown LA (the region spanning Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Montecito Heights, all the way down to City Terrace).  

We keep getting calls for stopped up sinks that are a result of grease or rice being allowed down the drains.

Make sure you get all the ram and the largest hard rice you think you will need because neither are upgradable in the new MacBook Pros

I strongly recommend you live in the Houston area (rice village, midtown, the heights or washington ave.), especially if you don't know many people - the social scene makes it worth the commute.
