If they say something like "I don't need to sell it" or "I'm in no hurry" (or anything else that doesn't convey urgency), then they're likely not very motivated.

Everything seems to be selling instantaneously and with the lag time from "team members" it's hard to get something under contract.I'm moving to direct mail where I can hopefully find something off market, thus eliminating the urgency and need to rely as much on others to help find/negotiate the deal.

What you need to find out in addition to the survey (assuming the possibility) are two things:1) How long has the lawyer been using your property2) Did your mother ever raise an objectionI would absolutely be obtaining a survey if I was you and the off-mark comment about it from the "neighbors" would make the urgency to obtain one greater, not less, for me.

You can put aside an hour a couple times a week and communicate that to the prospects, they can choose from times convenient to you.b: when a prospect visits an open house and sees a crowd of others, it gives them a sense of competition (more urgency to get their application in, crowd validation that it is a good place to live).c: safety.
