To say that you are "disgusted" by their approach is emotional and displays a naïve approach to how business operates.Most would jump at your opportunity and leverage what you have to try and get an even better deal from the bank.

I would only add that you should always check that the listing is directly listed by a licensed (in your state) broker (license should be displayed on the site) and that it is not a referral service that will gather your property info and resell it to a local Broker in your area.
