It sounds to me like they could have an attorney in their ear, and they believe they can force so much more out of you.

I've tried Air BNB support to understand what the prior quality issues are to prove we've resolved them (but for privacy they can't tell me).

The commissioner ordered me to pay the plaintiff over $9k plus her attorney fees.
