Sorry my comment was not meant to be a " challenge" it was a simple question/ statement.

If you contact zillow through a bunch of ways (they also have social media outlets where you can comment, and that's what we did, in addition to all the other methods of contacting them) my understanding is they eventually do get back to you and are reasonable in resolving matters. 

I don't have any answers for you Holli but I'm commenting so I get notifications when others reply to this as it sounds like a unique project and I'd love to hear more!

To do this, you need to make sure and find designers/contractors that have built many ADUs and can properly determine what your full required scope will be.Also, jurisdictions are tightening their interpretation of ADU rules, and we're finding MANY more plan check comments are coming back for items not previously requested.

@Ned Carey I’m not sure the comment about the title insurance is accurate.

He also made comments about taking care of the lawn, etc.  

I was curious because your comment “I would advise that you move forward with that ADU.”.

The comments pretend that all of the barriers that brought about the lawsuit never existed. 

If it was knob and tube, or aluminum or 60 amp service, a bit of a different comment.
