Bottom line, it takes me 12-15 months to finish a project from point of land acquisition in my area (King County, WA).You should ask around with people who are familiar with the process to see what timelines to expect.

It would probably be easier to turn it into a window and then just add some vinyl siding at the bottom but I would probably keep the property like it is if it's a rental.
