the stuff the land guys are buying today are parcels may dad sold 50 60 years ago.. but probably have been through a few hands in between.. one needs to remember there are literally MILLIONS of undeveloped parcels in CA.... and the western deserts.. its a cottage industry for sure..

FWIW you're gonna get 10k punches in the gut, they unfortunately happen to all of us.I want to chime in that the revitalization you mentioned is happening in traditional Pullman, and it's a pretty big difference being west or east of cottage grove.
