If it's poured concrete, and you DIY it with a roller, get a roller with a really long nap - this helps you get into the little holes and bubbles in the concrete.

You could try to roller brush them with a small roller (ultra smooth), but you would have to be careful of maintaining perfection along the grooved edges.

Well, the 4" mini roller worked nice, but whenever I used a brush it looked ghetto as he!!
