The house that I am considering was built 1905 electric and plumbing is updated but floor plan is a lot of walls and fireplaces.

I’m anti fire pit and converted fireplace to electric.

The living room has beautiful wood floors with high vaulted ceilings and an updated fireplace.

Meanwhile back at his old farm, the new owner sees a shiny rock in a bubbling stream and sets it on the fireplace mantle because it's pretty and shiny.

That's because you aren't available or willing to take the calls on Christmas about a plugged up toilet, the guests are stuck in the snow, or there is a squirrel in the fireplace.  

I actually added stone to my fireplace this past week.

The house had a very low coved ceiling and ugly fireplace that was huge and weird.
