I'd like to buy gift baskets for folks I've worked with over the years - do I need to keep it under a certain dollar amount? 

I've dealt with First Mortgage in the past and all they did was attack low hanging fruit and bailed on me when I was going after my 3rd, 4th, and 5th house.  

We know the best quality lead is a HomeVestors buy call but we do not want to put all of our eggs in that basket as our cost per lead has nearly doubled in the last year. 

Interesting, so you would suggest he enter into a handshake deal to share with someone the fruits of his labor?

Or my kids get bored and pluck all your fruit and veggies off the vine before they're ripe.There's probably a million other scenarios like this that I haven't thought of.

For it to be a successful and fruitful partnership you should each have something that the other is lacking in.

Demand drops, renters move out and it becomes more difficult to adapt with all your eggs in that one basket. 

It's more of a long term play and takes a few extra years for the fruit to ripen...

Sorry for the tangent... and for giving an opinion on something that wasn’t even asked of me.... but a lot of people miss this and too often put all their eggs in one basket.... bet it all on one shot.... roll the dice and take too much of a risk.

These could be soups, chilis, fruits, etc.
