I tend to lean heavily towards the idea that I'm more okay with charitable giving if it's "paying back" versus the potentially rationalizing affect of "evening the score"That is, the money I've earned is relatively innocuous (with reasonable constraints), coming from those that benefited from our relationship as much as I did.
