Buying a home to flip and having no buyers is a bummer.Make sure you have the cash to hold it if necessry or be prepared to rent it out to cover the holding costs if you get stuck with it.if your using CC to pay for the repairs be sure that will not effect anything else your doing (debt to income ratio's / credit score etc...)When you get quotes add 50% into them - more then likely your not going to find the worlds greatest contractor on day one so be prepared for cost over run.Read up on what sells in a home - if your going to sell it to a homeowner that will be one type of rehab if your selling to an investor that is another type (see my first comment).Can go into more details on each but would be more helpful to know who you are targeting.Also look at CL and find local investors in your area - call them - see their homes - ask who does their reparis etc....you want someone with the kind of experience you need.
