The cabinets are off the shelf white shaker with basic subway tile backsplash.  

Putting in a new back splash. 

Scope of work includes drywall and interior paint on ~900 SF, 5 doors, baseboards, knocking down a kitchen wall, kitchen rehab (counter, cabinet, backsplash), and a handful of small misc stuff. 

On the other hand, when it was time to do the backsplashes I did them myself.

Now that I think about it, I have seen a couple for tiling back splashes or laying flooring.

Amazing how new flooring, counter tops, and back splash completely changes the look/feel of the kitchen. 

I wanted to see if you guys would ever entertain this and here are some pros and cons I’ve thought of.Pros:-Tenant is more vested, so longer stay-Someone is paying 1/2 the price of the counter top-the unit will bring about 50-75$ more with new countertops-upgrade is happening while rented = no loss of rent due to vacancy during remodel.Cons:-the biggest thing I worry about is uncovering extra work, new back splash, or heaven forbid their is mold or something...

There are brand new cabinets, appliances, water heater, HVAC, windows, custom concrete countertops, original hardwood floors, tile bathroom, tile kitchen backsplash, and huge backyard to let your imagination run wild, Just to name a few.
