@Jonathan Orr that's fine if you also want to present to family and friends but have this copy for them and then a slimmed down version for people who already know the basics, you don't want them thinking you just learned this and thought it was important enough to put into your pitch, plus everyone hates fluff especially when they're being pitched to.

I would also contact the state licensing board.The chances of getting money from him in court are slim, if anything the negative reviews, notices from BBB, notices from the state board, then the notice from the court will force him to come to you to pay the damages and go back to hiding under whatever rock he scurried out from under.
