I do know people that rent in this market with success, but not without considerable headaches (I do not own rentals in this market). 

@John CampbellThere are several considerations that can go into the analysis of whether you need an LLC or whether a large insurance policy will suffice.

You might also want to take into consideration if it's a single-family or a multi-family.

Its a consideration, but unfortunately not as simple a solution as I would hope for. 

A little bit about my experience in Real Estate… I started a couple years ago doing some house flips in Detroit ( It was a 2 year plan) then decided to sell everything, moved to Washington DC which can’t afford anything in the DMV area but last year I purchased a very nice 3500 SQFT Duplex in Shaker Heights, suburb of Cleveland. 

Zero self-accountability for doing 0 research, consideration, thought.

There are few cases where you can do 90 days with no rehab however there will be a final consideration of value from underwriting, which may or may not cut the value. 

Traveling nurses and other professionals search this area often with the considerable amount of hospitals, medical facilities and corporations in the surrounding cities. 

Hi Alejandro - I would say Spring Branch, The Heights, Energy Corridor, and Memorial City area do have some good investment properties and are definitely showing substantial appreciation in the future with the all the growth happening!
