Looking to invest in real state in Houston suburbs (Katy, Sugar Land)

Posted

I am interested in purchasing a rental property in the Houston, TX area. I previously lived in Katy, TX from 2018 to 2020 and observed significant growth in the suburbs. Currently, I reside in Washington State, but I am keen on investing in the Houston area.

I have noticed that many properties have become quite expensive. I am particularly interested in finding a house in a good neighborhood that has not yet appreciated significantly but has potential for future growth.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with experienced real estate agents in the area to understand which neighborhoods might be good investment opportunities.

Hi @Alejandro Monroy Reyes

Great idea considering Houston for your investing. There has definitely been a price increase in Houston housing over the last couple years. Depending on your budget and goals, the suburbs or more central Houston my be good fits for your investing. Fulshear, out past Katy and a little South, has seen tremendous growth recently with still room to go.

I'm also a big fan of certain pockets in Spring, TX. I own one rental up there and I just helped another client from BP purchase a great rental home in Spring.

Feel free to reach out with specific questions. I am a Houston real estate agent, Investor and developer.
