The seller currently has insurance, so how do I transition that over to my company instead of the seller without alerting the mortgage company?

Even in it's dilapidated state, NYC still has the best transit system in the country.

However, I have to give some of that up to work in SFR, and that's why I hope to get out of self-managed SFR and transition to other forms of less active investing.

@Jeff Mills Transition between owners, can sometime take a little while to get nailed down, tenants can be hesitant about paying to a different person, especially if they are not given a substantle lead time. 

And then I can start transitioning into rental property once I’m out of my job.
