Since you're relocating to a new market, the best advice (like someone mentioned) is to figure out where YOU will be happy.

It can definitely be overwhelming.

It will be remote, but since you live there now, you probably already have connections who either already know the house or local friends to find you good people to service things as needed.  

If you ever leave them it will be deleted, so be sure you are backing it up! 

We keep half the house for our use year round but rent the other half out all year long.  2024 tax year will be the first year we depreciate the asset.  

When I sell it I will be back at square one, no harm no foul.And I do mean WHEN I sell it. 

Since you're looking to house hack your first multifamily in New London, CT, or Greater Boston, connecting with local investors and learning about financing options will be key.
