I’m currently active duty military, stationed overseas in Japan while beginning this journey, so all of my relationships have been built virtually, or from previous connections.

Fwiw, I keep calling my elected officials (and radio stations that broadcast tenant biased reporting)...            

(About 25% increase in 2 years) At about this month next year, I will be moving to my next duty station (don't know where to yet), and was thinking of refinancing my VA loan to a conventional since I will have over 20% equity to avoid PMI and to free up my VA benefits to use where ever I'll be stationed next. 

There's a dollar cap but it's quite possible to have a VA loan at duty station A, and then another at duty station B, and so on.

(They’re promoting individual power stations using Tesla solar and batteries and possible the cars for storage.)

PDX is also very unfriendly to landlords, so we are selling the home there, and will be investing the proceeds here in Kentucky in two (according to my wife) or three (I hope) homes that we can rent and earn some passive income once she's done with the Army in ten-or-so years.We expect one more duty station after we leave Kentucky and hope to use our VA benefits to purchase a home wherever that might be to add to the portfolio (We really wish we'd been smarter and done the same in Denver and Long Island).

I live in uptown and before the pandemic when I had to work in an office I would consistently walk to the Fullerton of Belmont train stations to be outside and get some exercise.
