You get into problems with freedom when your freedom intersects with mine - like when all the smokers got kicked outside to smoke when the product of their addiction to nicotine - smoke - was proven to cause  health issues for those around them who don't have that particular addiction.  

Although we have owned a SFH rental for 3 decades in Deland Fl that cash flows about $850/month it wasn't until getting addicted to the BP podcast I started to realize I want to do more. 

I personally never would choose this for anyone, I got a screw loose, I have been doing this since 15, by every measure of psychology I am an active addict, lol, but seriously I am, my addiction just happens to be a lot more positive than heroine or crack.

Even if you discover homeless drug addicts have broken into your rental, you still have to follow the law to remove them.I suspect the Property Manager was alone on this.

You have to deal with petty thieves and drug addicts, you just have to have the reputation of being a ruffian and they will leave you and your property alone.  

Or you discover they moved in their brother, his drug-addicted girlfriend, two kids, and a couple bulldogs with a taste for wood trim.

Or using all unlicensed drug addicts.
