They handle the project while you are out looking for the next deal.Some of you may ask, “why hire a designer when my contractor or I can do all this?”

Building a quality trustworthy team is not always simple and it takes work to maintain the team (even local takes work to maintain a quality team).As for buying your primary residence I have two considerations: 1) how long do you plan to live in the area 2) how are the long term appreciation outlook (in LA the long-term appreciation outlook historically has been excellent).

I would like to raise the kids till about high school (roughly 10 years away) and sell for millions and move closer to the coast with my fat chunk of change (subject to the future outlook of the immediate area).

Make sure the appreciation outlook is well in your favor and build a network to assist where you are weak.

The goal here is to develop a folder in your Outlook or an excel spreadsheet with as many contacts as possible. that way when you get juicy deals you just hit the button and send them out!

And yes shiny walls look interesting sometimes and they hold up better in bathrooms however I was mainly talking about the brand of paint doing really well for me in a single coat and being durable; I've seen youtube videos of the same kind of paint being used to paint cars and they come out looking pretty good.
