Brand new to BiggerPockets and even as a new memeber and new to REI I am excited to be among fellow real estate enthusiast as the site continues to grow and improve!

I'm brand new to the world of REI (and to this forum), and just wanted to connect with other like-minded individuals, and hopefully get your advice.

I think my position is a bit more complex than your average investor since:1) I am brand new and have been shopping for a good CPA to no avail for a month.2) I need to shelter risky assets as best as possible (which may include anonymity)3) I am looking to aggressively expand over the next 12 months into different states for short-term rentals, which have volatile regulations.4) My expected income for 2018 has a very wide band thus leaving room for the need for constant advice and dynamic planningThanks so much for any thoughts.

On the other hand, spending $30k to replace it with a brand new roof, in theory, makes the property $30k more valuable than the same place with the old leaky roof.

All the hotel brands are coming to market with new franchises that have full kitchens, large rooms, pools, laundry, gym, outdoor courtyards and kitchens, are located directly in the dining, entertainment, and shopping districts and adjacant to transportation corridors and have on site staff. 

So the best strategy is to optimize your website first, set up or update your Google My Business profile, then do the same for all your social platforms with a unified brand voice. 

Depending on where you are purchasing - look for major brand outlet stores.   

Solar has come a long way from its origin and it has enabled me to save a lot of time and money.For cameras, many brands offer a solar option.
