Utilizing Solar Lights and Cameras in your Mobile Home Community

Like many other community owners, I have looked to solar to improve safety in areas that would be hard to reach with current infrastructure.

A few considerations are deciding how they will be mounted, your budget, and how bright you want them. Additional lights can add a lot at night but become a nuisance to tenants and neighbors. Solar has come a long way from its origin and it has enabled me to save a lot of time and money.

For cameras, many brands offer a solar option. These are great because they allow you to place cameras anywhere that you can reach wifi. I think this technology will continue to improve over time giving more battery power and additional capabilities.

Even the less expensive brands have worked well in our communities, I guess we will see how they compare over the next few years.
