@Karen Margrave I agree 100% about needing a profile picture to differentiate common names. 

I recommend reaching out to 2-3 PMs and then using tools like Zillow and Rentometer to get a full picture.

Longterm I believe this will work out, but also can't provide a full picture after only holding for one year.  

10 years ago my property was 90% VRBO, 10% Airbnbsame property 10 years in using both,now it's 90% Airbnb, 10% VRBOsame property, same pictures on both sites, etc.

I’ll keep saving and researching in the meantime to get a clearer picture of the capital needed.

Can anyone else suggest other real estate or economic newsletters where I can get big picture news on the real estate markets and economy? 

Online metrics can be good, but they wont paint the whole picture.
