The loan originator is not going to be the one sitting at the closing table across from a notary public who takes your fingerprints and has you sign documents saying it is your primary residence. 

I did my fingerprints and I am waiting for them to come back before I apply.

Plus, private lenders are as different as fingerprints.

You’ll find they are as varied as fingerprints.

That said I have only rented to 6 inherited tenants with children and it has been a mixed bag from “couldn’t tell there was a child here” to “lots of stickers and dirty fingerprints on each wall 3 feet up.”

Cheap paint will come off on the damp cloth used to clean fingerprints off the wall.Just my 2-cents from the last 30+ years experience. 

So, do the work; apply with the state, pass the exam, get fingerprinted, put your license with a firm, and join the professional organizations required to practice real estate in Florida. 

You'll have registration, fingerprint, testing fees as well, so budget $500 initially. 

As to high tech guns, finger print technology, that would help ensure only the owner had access.
