Hello all!I am moving to Tampa to be a real estate agent and I’m in the process of going thru the online courses. I just got my prints in the system. So i’m on my way to being licensed! I posted here to ask for advice for anyone in the area. Also what should I expect my first few months being in real estate? Financially, mentally etc.

Any advice would be appreciated!

First things first...get your license.  That means you have to study and know the stuff. 47% of first time exam takers of the real estate exam fail; 57% who take the second time fail.

So, do the work; apply with the state, pass the exam, get fingerprinted, put your license with a firm, and join the professional organizations required to practice real estate in Florida.  It's not a cheap date nor a fun ride - but it's what is required to get in the game.

And, about the game:  87% of all agents fail in real estate (source: tomperry.com).  It ain't HGTV.  So, you'll work to earn the right to get in the game and then it will be game day every day.  Real Estate is a tough business; for many, it's a challenging and rewarding one.  I hope it will be that for you.  Welcome to Tampa...we're glad you're on your way.
