I can understand how the .pdf version could be sent around without paying for it.If you wrote a book and were not charging for it and wanted it to go viral then I guess a .pdf would make more sense.

Sure some videos go viral for whatever reason, but if you think that you will quickly get a lot of views because your content is 'better' than the competition, thats unlikely.
