With the bi-levels, you walk in to a landing and then either go up half a flight of stairs to the bedrooms and bath or go down half a flight of stairs to the kitchen, living room, and half bath.With the tri-levels, you walk in and have a kitchen and living room on main floor.

I know you are busy & live one hour away from the Inland Empire, but I would be more inclined to make a one hour or 2 hour drive than a 3-6 hr roundtrip flight with a 3 night stay & missing work to take care of an issue with an out of state property.I'm sure your family members are experienced & mean well.

You're going to die of colon cancer, probably in the next three days or so and your son is in Afghanistan and the flights aren't lining up to get him home and by the way the morphine isn't working and your wife has dementia with no caregiver when you're gone and you don't have enough money for a care facility but you don't qualify for Medicaid... that's a problem.
