In general, you don't get to simply swap names to continue qualify for loans.

I have single familes (just 2, plus my residence) not multis, but I pay a fire protection company to test the detecters every six months and swap out the fire extinguishers.

So in other words, if one LLC is sued, they can go after everything the other LLC owns because you swapped funds back and forth between the two LLC's therefore giving the impression that the two companies are really just one company, which is called the Alter Ego Theory.

A 1031 will not work back into US I believe and curious if forms of equity swap or other methods can be mutually beneficial.

I've seen people swap "pink slips" for cars straight up, even when one car is worth significantly more than the other.

I would love to hear your story sometime man we should definitely get together and swap real estate and deployment stories.
