My strategy from the beginning has been networking and finding people with experience, offering to take them out for a coffee or a beer, and listening to their experience while grilling them with as many questions as possible.My goals in joining biggerpockets are to continue to learn from those with more experience than me while making better connections in the local markets that I have interest in (Bakersfield, greater Boston, Japan) while sharing my experiences and advice with those newer to real estate who may be interested in the areas I have experience.

Come out to the Texans Grill this upcoming Wednesday by Jet Lending and sponsored by my company also.  

Its not very hard to change the grilles out.

Hi KatherineWe have a RE Investor group the first Tuesday of every month at the Palms Grill in Petaluma. 

Grill area.

I am considering additions such as an outdoor grilling area, dog park, and/or kid's playground.

I had literally just replaced all of the carpet and remodeled the entire house and in two in a half months they destroyed everything - including part of the roof (they screwed a piece of sheet metal into a flat porch roof to cover over the spot he was grilling.)

Gas or charcoal grill. 

And then some guy is going to bring his charcoal grill up there!
