At least for me, it took getting whacked on the nose a couple of times (once, really bad) before I learned my lesson.

Not only is the rent high, but you'll be paying out your nose for everything else as well.4) The Traffic is Terrible -- San Francisco ranks #3 in the US for most congested traffic.

On the stairs I cut it 1" away from the balusters, with aluminum nosing and quarter round molding at the corner of tread & riser.

I think it was a really underhanded thing for the city to do, but they are never able to look past the nose on their face so it is hardly surprising.  

@Allan Worthey Well...you sort of cut off your nose to spite your face if you want to be a licensee and focus on wholesaling...not to say that you can't do it, but you're held to a higher standard by law...which as simply as possible, requires you to find the highest and best use for sellers properties...that said, highest is not always best.

No SE taxes.Notes/lending and earning interest are the opposite of passive income to me. 

Make them pay through the nose for it.
