yes according to Florida law any multi family building that has more than five units is required to have a public lodging license.

If you're looking at the older condo's (like Mtn Lodge) they are pretty old, and will require a lot of upkeep.  

I saw nobody with anything below like, 4.2.Often lower rated places tend to be reflective of budget lodging.

When I stay in Palm Springs, I do avoid North Palm Springs like the plague though in terms of lodging due to the winds and have crossed it off the list in terms of our acquisition search as well.Th Movie Colony, Old Las Palmas, Vista Las Palmas, and Historic Tennis Club are a few of the nicer areas and Tahquitz River Estates and Midtown are more affordable but still nice.Hope this helps and good luck!

Actually I think they offered to pay for STR owners to join the Texas Hotel Lodging Association. 

This will come with an additional lodging tax (10-11%) on gross monthly income received on all stays under 30 days. 

Lodging 500/night It’s a no brainer for me.

Managing a lodge is a full time job. 

Try to get a hold of the hospital and see if they have a need for traveling professional lodging.
