I would advise you to close on your home 2-4 weeks before you have to move in, allowing time to complete any repairs, paint, decorate and move in with little/no stress. 2-4 MF units in good areas that are affordable in the PHX market are difficult to come by.

Marshalls RULES for accessories - especially knick-knack decor, bath fixtures, & mirrors (have some furniture deals if you look around).

My wife doesn't like my interior decorating skills (I had an 08/15 Maxim on a sled in the living room at one time)...and she will not like me putting this stuff all over the bedroom walls.

I would also remove a lot of the accessories, pillows, and wall decorations.

Could it be that you're used to high end homes and aren't used to decorative elements that might turn this into a charmer?
