They say they optimize SEO for agents but I still had to pay for google ads in order to get any lead flow.

It’s great to find an agent that goes “above and beyond” for their clients but on the other hand it’s also important for agents to recognize when something is beyond the scope of their expertise.

In the Hudson market, it's typical for agents to only charge the tenants for any fees while doing all the paperwork and screenings for the landlord. 

@Steve MorrisYa but I believe S-corps are not allowed for agents in California.

I read that agents in California are not allowed to form LLCs or S-corps. Is this correct information? Cali agents cannot reduce SE tax then.

Agreed that it is a step up for agents to understand the investment side themselves while working with investors.

With this being a seller's market and low inventory (not to sure about your market) there are more buyers so it has been really easy for agents to sell these days.

Also, the Real Estate Rockstars Podcast is great for agents new and experienced.
