Also, just if you plan on using a Realtor to sell the property, let them know the reason for the 'For Sale by Owner Sign" is out, is because you do not want to list it until it is complete.

At minimum, especially in condos, I suggest a min size of 2 bed/2 bath to start justification…if you can invest bigger, 4 or 5 bedroom homes on the Island are more of a rarity, and in the right location with the right amenities, that will start your serious cash flowing off on the right foot!

If it takes longer for any reason, you have to read what your contract says about it, but you may not have any choice but to let them keep working on it.However, if they have breached ANY other provision in the contract- ghosted the job site without written notification and justification; not followed the scope of work included in the contract; violated any black and white term of the agreement- then maybe you have evidence to claim breach of contract.
