I am just out side of Elkhorn, WI and selling our property the is 5 blocks from the lake.

We have a great mix of LTRs Multifamily in the metro area, and a great opportunity for STR in the mountains and lakes of the poconos.

Jaime, I'm actually sitting in a hotel in Lehi, near Salt Lake, right now.

There are more factors than just the community (#beds, level of theming, location to the amenities, style of home (single family, townhome, condo) and others) But I would strongly advise to stay within some of the same communities you mentioned like Storey Lake, Windsor Hills, Championsgate and a few others if cash flow is your goal.

Lawrence expressway is a sea of stack n paks.Youd be amazed how many apartments in campbell too,  Bascom ave is getting gentrified like crazy I remember taking Grant line road as a back way to get to 50 and then south lake TAhoe. 

Maybe lake visitors, but not really close to the lake. 

I started my Career in Lake County Ca. and half that county burned down over the last 10 years.. probably 2k homes got destroyed so not as epic as say the fires in Napa and Sonoma. 

I wouldn't use Lake Geneva because with its tourism its in a league of its own in that area. 

I'm sure how far Lake Monroe if from the University but I would also look into the amount of STRs in that as well.
