The rumor on the block is that Fannie Mae could be no more in the near future.My question to all BP Members is: IF this happens, what would it mean to us investors and how would it affect our business, be it buy and hold or for us flippers.

Rumors don't cut it.

Will this happen before or after California breaks off from the U.S. as well which was another rumor wasn't it? 

Don’t feed into the media or rumors, rely on data and history- it always seems to repeat itself.

The prices for downtown are coming up quick and I know there's a lot going on with GM but rumor is new factories and jobs are coming to the area so I'll definitely keep my eyes open.

There are rumors that the city is going to change the owner occupancy requirements; but my guess is that won't happen quickly.

So I'm looking for some advice on which course of action you all would recommend:1) Keep the tenant (who wants to renew and has paid the rent), despite their maintenance issues and the rumors they're part of some drug cartel I hear from the neighbors... but get a new property manager or manage it myself if I can correct their deficiencies.2) Look for both new tenants and a new property manager (or do it myself since I did a better job vetting tenants to begin with).3) Sell it.
