Instead, I am going to personally scour MLS a couple times a day to make sure no opportunities are missed, and I will also make the off market opportunities I mentioned above available to you as well.Call me old-fashioned, but I'd like to meet, shake hands, and see if we can develop that long term business relationship you mentioned in your post.What do you think?

I have been scouring the forums on these areas and wanted to ask the following question to get an idea for these areas:1.

When I first discovered BP I was spending a large amount of time scouring the forums looking for every nugget of wisdom I could find.  

You can purchase lists of these properties or you can just scour the newspapers yourself.

But in any event, I am still debating whether it makes sense to direct market for the experience, or to have a real estate agent scour the MLS in hopes of finding good deals in my area.

So I keep scouring the MLS, I'm looking at starting to do some targeted mailings, and sometimes I just wonder if it woulnd't be a decent idea to just pile money up and wait for the market to come back down a little. 

I'm currently scouring the southwestern Allegheny County/Western Westmoreland County/Eastern Washington County lines (all 30 min from my home) looking for deals as well.

I feel like I am doing all the following up on all the leads myself just by scouring the internet and listing sites. 

I know I can scour the local paper for legal notices but that's a pain in the rear.
