Finding tenants without a realtor

Does anyone have ideas on how to find renters without going through a realtor? 

I have tried Craigslist a few times with no positive results, other than some guy in Nigeria that will send me $100,000 if I send him $15,000 first...who needs real estate, right?

You can use zillow rental manager (used to be post lets).
