-saving on Sales Commission when I do my own deals-Not really a pro but I am used to being held at a higher standard and am ethical.

Steve, I checked with the bank I am using and they do not finance for modular homes/trailers.  

Leaning more in the direction of paying by cheque as this is the first time I am using this contractor (although he seems OK and the saving are just ~$150!)
