They are threatening a class 2 misdemeanor as the penalty, I'm not quite sure on the legality of this but we are complying and have cleared our calendars. 

The county will fine me for $1k if I don't comply by next inspection (in two weeks!)

Reality is....if they do not comply your current options are to offer Cash for Keys or wait until the courts reopen

But investor/landlords will want to suspend rental advertising on whatever vacation rental websites they use in order to comply with the suspension.Be safe out there!

This would at least comply with the spirit of the order.I do agree that it doesn't seem appropriate to treat Syracuse as if it's the same situation as down state, but that's where we are.
