In MN when it gets super cold outside you may have a few rooms that get cooler because of windows, this happens in my 8-year-old house also.

We have evaporative cooling  here and they assumed it was the cooler since the weather had been very hot.  

plus it has one of the cooler places to land your private plane i loved flying into that airport and then taking off over the gulf.. 

I'm not all that familiar with Denver, although I went to CU Boulder for school, but I want to be in a cooler, somewhat hip, walking area downtown.

That type of weather maybe presents itself 1-3 weeks every other year.I'm thinking about offering to buy them a window a/c unit/portable type unit or an evaporative cooler(humidity is low, temp is not too hot so this should work well i think)
