You can always wear heavy clothes if your really afraid of them a simple leather jacket and heavy garb on the rest of your body would suffice but the hard part is wearing all that in Florida. you bring protective clothes in your car and change when you get back to it.

Lots of clothes, furniture, art, cars, a long since spoiled butchered deer in a freezer that had been unplugged for about a year.

You might try layers of cloth and an iron.

Other properties we owned had met similar fates because of serious salt damp issues.But you're right on the 'buy & hold' the CDN properties we bought back in the '80's & still hold have appreciated beyond belief.

Smokers who smoke elsewhere are a problem too because the smoke stays on their clothing and when they come into the unit, it fouls the unit.
