Both here and pigtown are bad areas with incredible med to long term potential.

Although I am not sure that this is still the case (i am no politician I believe about 2 years ago the Department of Labor initiative forced all advisors to be fiduciary in their trade, now just like any other sales job in the world, whether that holds true ground or not is up to the individual just like a phamarcist prescribing meds or personal trainer selling you his products or real estate agent selling you on a home, loan officers, etc. there are people that have good intentions and some bad in every industry.

Med Schools will be the ones who are eventually forced to reduce costs to attract medical students if in fact, DR pay goes down.I am no expert on Obamacare and I am sure it is far from perfect.

Plenty of meds, eds and nurses renting in the area due to proximity to schools like Penn and Drexel and hospitals like CHOP, Penn, and Presby. 

As part of Folsom ranch there is a 51 acre commercial section that will include a UC Davis Med Center teaching hospital. 

With  my wife's business (realtor) we had to pay the 15% SS /med tax in addition to a tax rate of 28%.

I'm interested to hear anyone's experience with short term rentals on the Kansas side in the KU Med area.
