I went online and did it at http://www.ilrealestateschool.com/broker/Also i think you can go to any community college and they have classes ad well as Keller Williams in Barrington offers classes, they just take longer that online class. 

I believe some agencies like Keller Williams allow clients to access MLS through their agents.  

I haven't done any investing quite yet but have sold homes as a sales associate for Keller Williams.

Apparently Keller Williams Agency has a relationship with MyOutDesk so the VA's do have some real estate exposure through the course of their regular work, vs. having to train them from the ground up.

@Stephen Dominick  There is a meeting held once a month at the Keller Williams Real Estate Office in Bethlehem, I don't have the exact information to provide you.

Hello Jesus,Be sure to pick up some good books to get started- any BP book, Gary Keller's MREI & MREA, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and any other suggested books you read about around the BP forums.The podcasts here are very informative too. 

Gary Keller has some great literature that emphasizes the important of lead generation.

Gary Keller's Millionaire Real Estate Investor is a great book.

Also depending on where you intend to keep your license (what brokerage firm you will work with, ReMax, Keller Williams, etc) you will likely have some monthly expenses to pay them as well.
