There is a lot of scaremongering and strange rumors going around about Airbnb.

We have heard rumors that our realtor is getting out of the business and moving to a different state.

I just find is so funny how this rumor started and people actually take it for law. 

@Joseph Scorese There are lots of people that I know that are buying up South side because apparently there are some rumors in the town that something big is coming down to South side that will change it astronomically.

Rumor is they are getting an Apple store soon.

I've heard rumors some commercial companies may start offering it, but I don't think that's happening yet. 

Living in West Des Moines, I only know downtown areas through what I have heard through the rumor mill, which never seems to be the most accurate information.

We moved into a triplex that was full - but as soon as they heard that I bought it - they gave their notice and moved out on their own cause they heard rumors that we planned to evict anyway - so that made it easier on us.  

Assuming this rental is in California, where you are, be aware that I don't know your (rumored to be) oppressive landlord laws, so be careful whatever you structure is a) legal and b) enforceable.

This is my first thread on this forum, I just want to enquire with knowledgeable individuals in regards to the rumors of an upcoming market crash.
