Its not without hassle though, that's an important distinction, tuckpointing, brick sealing, and potential wall separation/collapse are always considerations. 

There obviously were some squatters living here and am leaning towards a company I have talked to to clean it out and clean the floors and walls. 

It's about as difficult as hanging a picture on the wall.

You could put shelves with cloth bins on the wall to substitute.

Be sure to start in the center of the room (don't assume the walls are straight.  

Same wall has an exterior defect that allows water to intrude through stucco from below due to no weep screet and soaks the base wood frame.

(Haven't been able to figure out a good way of using the GreenGlue for flooring which is supposed to be good between sheetrock layers in walls.)

The tenant below sent me pictures of a hole in her ceiling and a torn spot on the side wall  asking what would cause this.
