its suspect for sure.private money is just that some person you know .. not met on line .. trying to find private money on line is no more or less than internet dating.. who knows who you are meeting.any lender that wants points and super low rate is suspect on its face.. just not the real world..

No answer, including mine, on a forum post on the internet, is going to help you as much as a lawyer and your agent if they are knowledgeable in the situation.

I spent the last 17 years working in the Internet industry, a roller coaster ride of feast and famine, only to land here.

You are allowed to find a house and offer it up for sale on Craigslist, signs flyers, tv ads, internet sites etc.

I didn't do too much research on them, just a quick internet search but that's a solid rental area and those houses look solid (literally, all brick is nice).

The legal advice I was given is consistent with pretty much anything you find about the subject on the Internet.

Back before there was email and internet people serious about buying property would hand deliver offers and meet in person with checks in hand.
